Vask is a member of a demonic race known as the "Alarian Arc". While his species is vicious and inherently evil, they have a strong understanding of the need for balance and restraint.

Vask is an outcast who hungers for power, dominance and glory and desires nothing less. He sits upon his throne in darkness. He has no subjects, no army, no means other than his own craven obsession to bring about this conquest. For all his desire, he is a broken demon lost in the thought of vengeance, bitter battles and a glorious reign over the land. An immortal being, perched upon a rusting throne.
